I recommend putting together a simple website if you are into the business of content creation.
It can help you build an email list, build your portfolio and also acquire clients.
A website doesn’t need to be expensive and if you are looking for a reliable option, I would recommend using Hostinger for your hosting needs.
I host all of my websites of Hostinger because they are amazing in their support and services.

Staying Stuck vs Being Uncomfortable!
“In any given moment, we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety.” – Abraham Maslow
We often surrender our dreams!
- to society’s validations
- to procrastination
- to comfort zones
- to laziness
We have all done that.
Me too!
I had all reasons in the world to do something with my life.
Yet I was stuck!
Because of this one promise that we keep making to ourselves – “Someday, I’ll make a change.”
But that someday never comes, because staying stuck feels safer than trying and failing.
That’s exactly how I felt years ago, trapped in a loop of postponing my dreams.
It was a conversation with my mentor that changed everything for me.
A realization – Staying stuck hurts more than trying and failing ever will.
The truth?
The life you want is possible.
All you need to do is decide what is more important to you:
That life you are dreaming of or, the comfortable feeling you have right now!
And once you have picked the right choice, it is all about a few small, deliberate steps.
Let me share how I broke free.
This isn’t some rocket science.
In fact, I learned it from some one else and refined and adapted it to my situation.
You can also do the same.
Here it goes!
Learn a Skill That Pays
The fastest way to level up your life is to learn a high-value skill.
Take podcasting, affiliate marketing, or content writing as examples.
These skills don’t just add to your resume. They open doors to opportunities where you can earn independently.
And it is not just these 3 skills.
There are a ton of other skills – writing, speaking, designing etc.
Put in the time to learn one in demand skill that can help you make money.
Actionable Tip:
Spend 30 minutes today exploring platforms like Coursera, Udemy, or YouTube.
Search for free or affordable courses that resonate with your interests.
Your goal?
Pick one skill to start building.
Start Small, but Start Today
You don’t need 40 hours a week to begin.
A side hustle isn’t about time, it’s about consistency.
I started my side hustle along with a job that demanded about 12 hours from me everyday.
I was exhausted by the time I came home. Yet, I made 1 hour everyday out of my schedule to dedicate to the process.
It isn’t easy.
But when you are building your dreams, you will have to stretch yourself. Isn’t it?
Actionable Tip:
- Commit to squeezing out 1-2 hours every day.
- Wake up earlier or repurpose your scrolling time to focus on your new skill or project.
- Even small efforts compound into huge progress over time.
Solve Problems for Others
People will always pay for solutions, not just services.
Think about what you already know.
Can you teach someone how to save time, improve their health, or grow their business?
Use the skill that you learned, to offer solutions to people who are looking for one.
And, if you are wondering if there are problems you can solve, then let me break it to you.
The world is full of problems that need solving.
And the ones who are able to solve them are the ones who are making the real money.
Actionable Tip:
- Write down three problems you’ve solved for yourself or others.
- Choose one and brainstorm how you can teach it to others, through LinkedIn posts, blogs, or video tutorials.
- Your knowledge is valuable when it’s shared.
Use Platforms Wisely
The internet has opened up opportunities for everybody out there.
Gone are the days when you had to print pamphlets to let others know of your services.
Marketing and selling has become easy and you have a variety of platforms now available at your finger tips.
All you need to know and decide is – which platform to go after.
Platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and even podcasts are full of opportunities.
It’s where your potential audience, clients, or collaborators are waiting.
Learn to use them.
Actionable Tip:
- Pick one platform to focus on.
- Post once a week, sharing insights, lessons, or ideas related to your skill.
- Not perfect? That’s okay—progress trumps perfection.
Reinvest in Your Growth
Growth is a continuous process.
You will never be able to know it all.
So using that as an excuse to start is foolish.
And that is exactly what makes it even more important to keep learning on the way.
Every dollar you earn in your business is a seed.
The mistake most people make?
Spending it all.
Instead reinvest in tools, automation, and education to scale your efforts.
Keep improving your skills and keeping adding newer skills.
Over the years, I learnt skills like:
- email marketing
- copywriting
- podcasting
- social media
All of these helped me scale up my revenue.
Actionable Tip:
- Set aside 20% of every side hustle dollar you make for growth-related expenses, like better software or coaching.
- Think of it as building the foundation for long-term success.
Find Accountability
Big dreams are easier to chase when someone’s in your corner.
This is a secret ingredient that a lot of people miss.
Things that aren’t comfortable to do are the ones that are easier to quit!
The lamest of reasons is good enough for you to let go.
Which is where an accountability partner comes in.
Find an accountability partner, who can keep pushing you to show up everyday. It could be a friend, your spouse or, a mentor.
It doesn’t matter who it is, so far as you trust them to keep pushing you!
Actionable Tip:
- Share your goals with a trusted friend, mentor, or community.
- Let them hold you accountable with weekly check-ins.
- The right people will cheer you on when you falter—and remind you why you started.
Be Patient, but Relentless
Building a business isn’t an overnight game.
It takes weeks, months and maybe even a couple of years.
It is about showing up everyday, even if you don’t feel like doing it.
Consistency over time, creates results you won’t believe.
Actionable Tip:
- Track your wins weekly—no matter how small.
- Celebrate milestones, whether it’s your first post, your first client, or even your first rejection.
- Momentum builds when you stay committed.
Final Thought
Posting daily isn’t always fun. Neither is learning a new skill, waking up early, or working on a side hustle after a long day.
But what I’ve learned is this:
The discomfort of trying is nothing compared to the regret of staying stuck in something you absolutely hate.
Take one step today.
It doesn’t have to be big. But it has to be yours.
Let’s replace “what if” with “I’m glad I did.”
