AI in Content Creation!
“The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency.” – Bill Gates
A few months back, if you had told me that AI would become one of my most valuable creative tools, I would have laughed.
Like most creators, I believed that storytelling, strategy, and authenticity were things only a human could bring to the table.
AI felt impersonal. Robotic. Lacking soul.
But then I hit a wall.
Managing my newsletter, blog, podcast, and social media felt like an endless cycle. I’d finish writing one piece of content, only to realize that I still needed to repurpose it across multiple platforms.
It was exhausting.
I knew automation was the answer, but most AI tools I had tried were either too generic or too rigid.
That’s when I found Abacus AI.
And everything changed.
AI in content creation – How AI Became My Content Accelerator
Before I start, let me clear out one thing – AI didn’t replace me. It amplified me.
Why did I mention that?
Because I have always been an advocate of not letting AI replace you. And I have been very loud about that opinion.
So, I had to give that clarification, considering that I am using AI extensively these days and I am advocating its usage.
Now, here’s how AI transformed my workflow:
Automating Repetitive Content Tasks
I repurpose my content a lot.
In fact, I create a lot of content and hence it made absolute sense to repurpose it and use it on different platforms.
Before AI, I was spending hours manually repurposing content.
For example, every time I published a podcast episode, I had to:
- Write show notes
- Draft an email announcement
- Create LinkedIn and Twitter threads
- Summarize key takeaways for a blog post
Now, I’ve trained an AI bot to handle this process automatically.
I upload my podcast transcript, and within minutes, I have a structured summary, multiple social posts, and even an email draft—all ready to tweak and publish.
What used to take me four to five hours now takes under 30 minutes.
And the best part?
I didn’t have to learn coding or, programming to train this AI bot.
That is how AI had evolved these days!
AI Agents for Research & Drafting
Another major pain point for me in content creation?
Research.
For every newsletter or blog post, I’d spend hours gathering statistics, quotes, and relevant examples.
Now, my AI agent does the heavy lifting.
For example, when I wanted to write about content repurposing strategies, I asked my AI assistant to:
- Summarize industry reports on content trends.
- Find examples of top creators using repurposing effectively.
- Generate an outline based on key takeaways.
Instead of drowning in research, I could focus on writing and refining the narrative.
One Subscription, Multiple AI Models
One of the biggest challenges with AI tools is that no single model is perfect for everything.
Some are better at summarizing.
Some are better at long-form writing.
Some are better at conversational content.
And if you need access to all of these models, it meant shelling out about $80 per month which was a big expense.
But, Abacus AI solved this problem by giving me access to multiple large language models (LLMs) under one roof.
Now, I don’t have to juggle different AI tools and subscriptions. I can simply pick the best model for the task at hand.
For example:
- If I need SEO-optimized content, I use one model.
- If I need a short, engaging social post, I use another.
- If I want to rewrite something with a different tone, I switch to a different AI agent.
It’s like having an entire team of AI assistants at my fingertips—each with a different specialty.
What This Means for Creators
Many people fear AI will replace human creativity.
I don’t blame them.
All of the fear mongering that is happening online has made people think that AI will replace everything.
But after my experience in the last few months, I have come to believe that actually it is the opposite that is true.
The best creators will use AI as a force multiplier, allowing them to:
Scale without burnout – AI handles the tedious work, so you can focus on creativity and strategy.
Create more, in less time – No more struggling with blank pages or getting stuck in research loops. AI accelerates the process.
Repurpose effortlessly – A single piece of content can be turned into a newsletter, blog post, Twitter thread, and LinkedIn post with minimal effort.
Stay ahead of the curve – Early adopters of AI will have a competitive edge over those who resist it.
How You Can Start Using AI in content creation Today
Since you are reading this newsletter, I will assume that you too are into the business of content creation.
So, if you’re new to AI, start using it today.
You don’t need to go full force into it.
Start small and start using it for the basic activities.
Here’s a simple framework to get started:
Step 1: Use AI for Content Ideas – Ask an AI tool for 10 blog post or newsletter ideas based on your niche. Pick the best one and refine it.
Step 2: Use AI for Outlining – Instead of struggling with structure, use AI to create a basic outline, then adjust it to fit your style.
Step 3: Use AI for Repurposing – Take a blog post and ask AI to turn it into a Twitter thread, LinkedIn post, or email. See how much time you save.
The key isn’t to rely 100% on AI.
It’s to use it as a starting point—then add your own unique insights, voice, and storytelling.
Final Thoughts
“You can either be disrupted by AI, or you can use it to disrupt.”
I chose the latter.
Now, the question is – will you?
Let’s talk.
How are you using AI in your content creation process?
Or are you still on the fence?
